Are gold watches still in style?

I am 16 and I was thinking of getting this watch from amazon...I want a dress watch for church, holidays... Is it too flashy??? Is it out of syle???

    That’s a very nice looking watch, not too flashy, and gold doesn’t go out of style.
    But why not get a less expensive (gold-plated) version,
    and save some money, for college or maybe a car?
    Just a thought. :)

    thats tricky….gold will ALWAYS be in style. The oversided "boyfriend watch" look will die soon. Trends last 8-11 months; I have seen the watch trend play out for around 6 months….so I would stick to something more seasonless and that will never go out of style.

    We have seen quite a few gold tone watches being sold in our mall stores and online. Really it comes down to your complexion and skin-tone. I’m pretty fair skinned with freckles and gold doesn’t look that great on me.

    On the other hand, Rose Gold looks really good on my wrist.

    So if it looks good against your skin-tone, I say go for it. Invicta is a good watch brand as well.
